Mutton Seekh Kabab Ingredients

Boneless mutton (lamb) 500 grams
Button red chillies 6-7
Coriander seeds 1 and 1/2 tablespoon
Cumin seeds 1 and 1/2 tablespoon
Carom seeds 1 teaspoon
Cloves 5-6
Cinnamon stick 1 inch
Mint leaves 1 tablespoon
Fresh coriander leaves 2 tablespoon
Onion Half cup
Green chillies 6-7
Ginger and Garlic paste 1 tablespoon
Lemon juice 1 tablespoon
Red chili powder 1 teaspoon or to taste
Garam masala powder 1 teaspoon
Salt 1 teaspoon or to taste
Baking soda 1/4 teaspoon
Cooking oil 2 tablespoon
Charcoal for smoke 2 inch
Metal or Wooden skewers (wooden skewer pre-soaked in water) As you required

Directions: Step 1: In a frying pan, add button red chilies, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, carom seeds, cloves, and cinnamon sticks, mix well, and dry roast until fragrant. Let it cool. Step 2: In a spice mixer, add roasted spices and grind to make a powder and set aside. Step 3: In a chopper, add mutton, mint leaves, fresh coriander leaves, onion, green chilies, ginger and garlic paste, lemon juice, red chili powder,garam masala powder, baking soda, salt, and chop until well combined. Step 4: Take out in a bowl, add prepared spice mix, mix well, and knead for 2-3 minutes. Step 5: Give coal smoke for 2 minutes, cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes. With the help of greased hands, take a mixture (75g) and skew on a metal skewer or wooden skewer. Repeat this process with the remaining mixture. (makes 13-14). Step 6: In a frying pan, add cooking oil and grill/ pan fry kebabs on medium flame until done. Place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil. Now your yummy homemade seekh kebab is ready, and don't forget to share it with your loved ones. Enjoy it.

  • Carefully remove the Mutton Seekh Kababs from the skewers.
